In this section, you can search our Barristers' Register to check that the person you are dealing with is allowed to practise as a barrister and find out if a barrister has been disciplined for not following our rules by searching for Past Disciplinary Findings. You can also find out whether a barrister has been the subject of a complaint which has led to a final decision by the Legal Ombudsman by looking on their website although it is important to stress that a finding by the Legal Ombudsman is not the same as a finding of professional misconduct.
You can also view our Entities Register which lists the specialist legal services business who we authorise. These are know as "BSB entities".
You can view a list of barristers who are currently subject to an interim suspension. And finally, you can view a list of people who work for someone we regulate whom we have disqualified.
