This year the London Legal Support Trust's (LLST) London Legal Walk takes place on 18 June 2024 and celebrates its 20th anniversary. LLST is an independent charity that raises funds for free legal services in London and the South East. They also offer their knowledge, contacts, and experience of the sector to help legal agencies become more sustainable. All funds raised go towards improving access to justice.
Last year was a record-breaking year for the London Legal Walk with walkers and their supporters raising more than £950,000. Over the last 20 years, by walking together for justice, an incredible £10.5 million has been raised, helping hundreds of thousands of people access justice when they need it most.
The BSB team will be walking 10km on 18 June, alongside the Lady Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers, to support the most vulnerable in society to access life changing free legal advice.
